Day 305

I'm 10 months old!

To celebrate I took 10 steps today without falling. Sign me up for the track team!

I like to practice saying new sounds too. Lately I've been saying "Be" and "Ga." Mommy and Daddy like to think I'm saying "Thank you," and "I love you" too, but I'm really just trying to tell them how hungry I am... constantly!

Mommy was really excited today. Though I've been saying it for some time, I finally connected "Mama" with her when I woke up this morning

I'm still going to swim class twice a week and I love it. Yoga too. Mommy says it makes us flexible, but I really like the music. And I dance too. A lot.

Day 294

Today confirmed it!

I took 3 steps today in broad daylight in front of Mommy, Daddy and some of my baby friends and their mommies.

The mommy and me group met at Grandma's house today.

We had so much fun playing in the house and out in the yard.

Day 293

There's still some debate as to whether or not it counts as officially walking, but I took my first steps tonight.

I was in my crib and I was standing a bunch and after a while I just decided to get a little closer to daddy... first I took one step and sat down and then a few minutes later I took two steps before sitting back down.

Daddy pulled out the video camera, but alas, my demonstration was finished for the evening. Perhaps I shall perambulate more tomorrow.

Have those cameras ready, eager parents!

Day 284

Happy Easter!!!

We went to the ranch for Jim & Marianne Poett's annual Easter Party.

I like to wave and clap.

I'm making "L" sounds now.

Day 278

Today everyone came over to Grandma's house for my dedication ceremony. Daddy's friend Steve came all the way from Atlanta to perform the ceremony... he's a pastor.

Everybody had a fun time and I got to see Grandma Edy and Grandpa Mark too.
