Here are some pictures from a day in the park with Mommy and Daddy from last Sunday. |

Monday, 21 August 2006 Day 54 I went to see my doctor again today. Dr. Gervais is so nice. I like her a lot. Unfortunately I had to get some vaccinations and they hurt real bad. I cried pretty loud by the time she finished with the fourth shot. You'd think I was joining the Army or something, what with all the needles.
Te nurse weighed and measured me today too. I am now 12 lbs. 1 oz. and 23 inches long!

Saturday, 19 August 2006 Day 52 Today we drove to Chester, New York, to visit with Jesse & Kelly Loyd, see their new house, and celebrate Jesse's 30th birthday (he's old). Jesse and Kelly both work at MTV, so naturally they're pretty cool, and very in touch with popular culture. We had cake and ice cream under a tent in their backyard and then we all played video games on their huge HDTV. It was pretty awesome. Happy Birthday Jesse! (His birthday is actually the 22nd of August.) |

Thursday, 17 August 2006 Day 50 Today Mommy and I went to Jones Beach with Aunt Ginger and my cousins Nicolas and Mia. This wasn't my first time at the beach, but it was the first time I visited an East Coast beach. Not bad. Makes me miss California, though. |

Tuesday, 15 August 2006 Day 48 I'm just catching all the boroughs this week! Today we went to Brooklyn to see Mommy's friend Andrea, her husband Doug and their new baby Timothy. He's very cute. Maybe we'll date. I don't know... I have so many options, what with being so cute and all. He's pretty cute too ;-) |

Lizbel is cool. You can't really tell here, but she's going to have 2 babies soon! More friends for me! |
Friday, 11 August 2006 Day 44 Mommy and I went over to the place she works in the Bronx today. I got to meet all the nice people she works with, like Andy and Lizbel and everyone. It was fun meeting everyone, but the drive there and back was just brutal! Gun Hill Road is full of pot holes and crazy drivers. |

Wednesday, 9 August 2006 Day 42 Today was pretty uneventful. Mommy and Daddy went to the dentist. Daddy needs to have a tooth capped. Mommy's teeth are perfect. Pretty exciting stuff. The fun part was on the way home. I got to take my first Subway ride, and in proper form, it was on the first Subway line ever built, way back in 1904: the "1" train. |

Tuesday, 8 August 2006 Day 41 We flew back to NYC today. I am already missing California but Mommy and Daddy say we'll be back there real soon. Maybe to stay! |

Sunday, 6 August 2006 Day 39 A landmark day for good ol' "Izzy-B the Busy Bee." My first rodeo this morning. We missed Auntie Elizabeth's boyfriend Austin competing, although his team didn't do so well today. But yesterday they took 3rd place in a real hard event! Austin's a good cowboy. For lunch we went over the mountains to the Cold Spring Tavern to meet up with Grandpa Carl and Sallie and a bunch of bikers. Everyone drank Arnold Palmers (a combination of Iced Tea mixed with Lemonade) except for me--I had the usual. At sunset, the day witnessed another first for the girl from NYC... my first visit to the beach... Butterfly Beach to be precise. I gotta say, this California place is something. A girl could get used to this. |
